Now for my card....I am showcasing the NEW Bohemian Sun die.

I cut it out in both yellow and black, and popped it up to give it some dimension. If you look closely below, you can see how the tiny rays around the sun can be popped up a bit too:

I also used the new Indie Border die, I thought it looked great with the patterned paper I found in my stash, and cut it out in white.

The sentiment "peace" is also from the new release, called the Bohemian Word set.

I had to laugh as I saw that set, WOW does it bring me back to the 70's and my high school years! It has the words LOVE and HELLO also. SO much fun!! I can't wait to make some cards for my old psychedelic colors of course!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Your next stop on the blog hop is back to Cheery Lynn's Blog!

Dies R Us "Winter Blues"

The challenge at Dies R Us is "Winter Blues."

Our Challenge Blog

I kind of took that literally and made a very BLUE card!

I used Lawn Fawn's leafy tree and cut it out in white. Then I made a little winter scene using the snowman from Elizabeth Crafts. The cute string of lights is from Cheery Lynn. I cut out a hill of snow with Lawn Fawns stitched hillside border dies.

I guess the lights (and sentiment) make this a Christmas card, but actually we still have our outdoor lights up! It's too cold to take them down, and probably will be for a long time.

So I will still be turning them on every night...I love the cheerful glow outside!

I can't wait to see the will be so fun to see what everyone came up with for this fun challenge!

Cheery Lynn Garden of Love Valentine

Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for Cheery first as a designer! I'm so happy to be joining this awesome design team.

I thought I better get going on my Valentines, and reached for CL Garden of Love die. It's so pretty's quite large, so I cut part of it off to fit on my A2 card. I LOVE the pretty scrolls.

I added both of the "Two of Hearts", and a cute Sweetheart" in the center.

I love those hearts, they are becoming a favorite...I can't wait to make some more cards with them. It would be so cute to give a box of Sweet heart candy with a matching card!

The Paper Players are back!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years!

LeAnne's first challenge of 2017 is to use a recycled item on your project. What a great idea! My items are the tiny pearls I took off an old project before throwing it away.

I started with Taylored Expressions lattice background, and added a frame from Impression Obsession. The beautiful sentiment is from Verve, I love to collect bible verse stamps, and this one is a fave of mine.

I added a corner die from Cottage Cutz called Fancy Floral Butterfly dainty and pretty!

I would also like to welcome our new guest designers at the Paper Players too...Crystal, Valentyna and Deanne!

Alcohol Inks

I made a few cards with alcohol ink backgrounds awhile back that I have been meaning to share.

I just love the blues and yellows mixed together!

I was at a friends house when I made this, so the butterfly and sentiment is from them...nor sure what the company is.

Here's a link to alcohol ink technique...from Tim Holtz. I warn you's addicting...and so fun!!

Here are a few others:

Have a great day!
