The Paper Players sketch challenge

This week Joanne is the hostess at The Paper Players and she has this fun sketch:

I turned it around and created a fall thank you card.
Pumpkins are on my mind lately I guess...I made some pumpkin cookies and a dessert yesterday too:)

The mug is cut out from Stampin' Up's Cups and Kettle. I added a couple of stitched pumpkins and leaves from Memory Box. The tags are from CAS-ual Friday, and at the top is a linked garland from Reverse Confetti.
I adhered some shiny sprinkles on the cream.
 Yum!

Penny Black O Holy Night

Good Morning!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Christmas Card Challenges:

I used some new Penny Black Christmas dies called" O Holy Night" and "Manger."

The little sprigs are from Impression Obsession, and the snowflakes were sent to me from my secret pal last Christmas.

I used some glitter paper from my stash, which was really difficult to get a decent photo of for some reason.

I hope you will head on over to the Christmas Card Challenge and play along this week!

Have a great day:)

Dies R Us County Fair challenge

Hi everyone!

The new August challenge at Dies R Us is County Fair or carnival. I had lots of ideas for this, but one in particular came to mind right away.

When I was young the fair had hot air balloon rides one year. I wanted to go on one SO bad! But I never did get a chance. It looked SO fun flying up in the clouds. I should have gone on a ride back then, because now I'm afraid of heights...LOL!

I created a scene with Lawn Fawns Spring Summer Dies and Rolling Clouds. The hot air balloon is from Elizabeth Crafts.

The links below this photo will take you directly to the Dies R Us store.

Impression Obsession Wheat

Hi everyone!

Here's LeAnne's color challenge for The Paper Players this week:

I thought of fall right away and made a Thanksgiving card. I will need several of those pretty soon....I figure I may as well get started!

I used Impression Obsession's wheat die to cut out the challenge colors. The sentiment is from Papertrey. I found some patterned paper in my scrap box with the same colors....yay! What are the chances of that?

Have a great day!

Cheery Lynn Christmas Lights Swag

Let's start the day out with a card for the Christmas Card Challenges!

Christmas lights!

One of my favorite childhood memories was looking at the lights on the tree with my dad. After we had the tree all decorated, we would stand back arm in arm, squinting our eyes as we gazed at the tree. When we did this, the lights would all blur together. I thought it was beautiful! Even though my dad has been gone for so long, I still do this every year. Makes me feel good inside:)

I decided to put some multi colored lights from Cheery Lynn on Tutti Designs Christmas tree. It looks just like our tree looked when I was growing up. I added a bow at the top, and a sentiment from Taylored Expressions In & Out Christmas.

I think this is such a fun challenge and I just can't wait to see the gallery this week...I hope you can join us

Hi everyone!

Today Happy Little Stampers has a new September challenge:

My card features Happy Little Stampers Everyday Sentiments.
I reach for this stamp set all the time. It is SO versatile!

The dies I used for this card are all ones I borrowed from my friends at one time or another.

We like to get together and cut out card candy. The rounded rectangles are from Lil Inker, the rose from Cottage Cutz and the doily is a Quinn flourish from Memory Box.
